Extraordinary Getaway

Super late post...

Got an extra space on Sunday morning during our co-ass life. We are Extra Ordinary Co-Dentist cycle, and these were our weekend getaway! It was our first time hanging out together with completed members, 10 of us, since we work as a team in August, 2014. You know, sometimes it's hard to fix the schedule and find the right timing. But finally, we did it spontaneously with a lil bit duress to those who can't go on that day. Hahaha.

Planning an outbound activities at Kampoeng Ladang, but ended up with picnic and craving for corns at Panatapan, Berastagi. What a long trip...

I know that just a simple workout can't raise your satisfied feeling, but believe me it can boost your happy hormones, at least for one day only.

Partner, they said...

Next destination: Panatapan, Tanah Karo
We need something coolness and warmness at the same time, so the best choice is going to a cool place then eat a boiled corn or noodles. Hmmmm... And no doubt the fresh air for sure!

You wouldn't get the same moment twice in life. See you on another getaway!:*

Statement Style

Oke deh gue lebay.

"Dres, saya gimana yaaa bilangnya sama kamu.

"Tapi kami punya peraturan.
Dia tau aja loh gimana bikin gue sensitif!

Menurut gue, setiap orang punya statement nya masing-masing. Semua orang pasti mau menjadi smart, dynamic, and bright. Jadi, kalo kita bisa terlihat menonjol, kenapa masih mau jadi orang yang 'biasa' aja?

Semakin dipikir gue semakin heran deh. Kenapa harus gue yang disuruh menyamakan diri? Kenapa nggak temen-temen lain yang menyamakan gue? Supaya kita semua sama-sama terlihat stylish gitu loh. Toh fenomena rambut ombre bukanlah gue trendsetter nya, gue cuma followers mode masa kini kok. Apakah mahasiswa/i nya takut dimarahi seperti gue?

Salah satu departemen paling stylish misalnya, sebut aja departemen S. Pernah gue cerita tentang masalah gue disindir, dibully, dan...whatever you named it, tentang penampilan gue di departemen lain, sebut aja departemen XYZ. Diluar dugaan, mereka bijaksana banget.
"Nggak apa-apa Dres, kan kamu jadi terkenal loh malahan. Coba kamu warnain ungu aja rambut kamu, terus kalo disindir sama dosen kamu bilang aja, ini trend terbaru loh, Dok!", kata seseorang di departemen S yang stylish dan berjiwa muda banget.

"Lain kali kalo masuk di departemen XYZ, kamu hitamkan rambutnya. Kan nggak semua orang berjiwa muda seperti kami", kata seorang lainnya.
Loveliest!

By the way, seseorang di departemen XYZ yang selama ini pikirannya nggak pernah sejalan sama gue, yang katanya haters gue, kenapa pas ulang tahunnya malah ngasih gue first cake cobaaaa?

Yaaahh namanya juga fans in denial...
Thankyou for making me feel like a celebrity!

Karena warna rambut gue beda sendiri, karena gue sering ngelawan, karena gue sering telat, karena gue rebel? Hahaha rejeki anak brengsek :p

To be success and famous, you don't need to be better. You have to be different!

Holiday Getaway

Indonesia has many beautiful places to explore. As an archipelago country, we had about 13.466 islands from Sabang to Merauke. Thanks God I live in Lampung, a province which located at the end of Sumatera Island and a lot of tiny islands around.

In my latest holiday, I try to explore the beach. Lampung has many beaches with white golden and smooth sand. I always love walking along the seaside and play with the blue sea water. When I was a child, I usually collected the shells although when go home I often forget to bring it. Hahaha. Yess, I'm a beach enthusiast!

If you're looking a far from the seaside, you can see many another islands on the other side. You need choose one or two to be explored by a wooden ship. The cost is not really expensive if only you can bargaining with the ship man.

The famous one is Pahawang Island, but I didn't have chance to go there because it was too far from the place we were. I was at Sari Ringgung Beach, so the other option is only go to Tangkil Island and Pasir Timbul. It's not bad and equally attractive. Mostly island isn't truly different, they have the similar characteristic: quite, unexploited, windy, and peaceful. Just xoxo.

It isn't only beach, but beach and resort. They have cottage and tents if you want to spend the night there. There's also some water sports something like banana boat, diving, snorkeling, bike rental, beach volley, etc. Very nice for your adventuring holidays.

Tangkil Island
is an unexploited island where the nature grow fearlessly here. Unfortunately we went at the end of the year when the tide. It cause the seaside is turning down and we can't go over the sea to take some photos :(
You can enjoy your summer time here with diving. The moss, algae, corals, and underwater life are waiting for you!

So...how much do you miss holiday?
Better to prepare your sunblock, sunglasses, and hat. Happy exploring Indonesia!

MLTR #25Concert

Start the year with a lovely concert. With my lovely sister @likesplendya and lovely friend too @saeyori :)
Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR) lives in Bandung!

MLTR have many tours around Indonesia this year, such as Bali, Bandung, Medan, Makassar, and Jakarta. But we choose Bandung just because this city give the cheaper ticket price than others, of course held by the different promoters also. It's their 25th year in this music industry. Such a long long journey to be a legend.

I've listened to MLTR's songs since in Junior High School, mostly are easy listening and very nice songs. But to be honest, at the first time I didn't know who are the personnel, never had a good attention into this band because I thought they are too old and not really handsome, so I never get interested.
But I'm totally wrong! MLTR is a romantic band from Denmark, and they are totally awesome and cool maximal. They're so charismatic on the stage, even in their age which is almost equal with my dad's. Hahaha.

Why you should watch this concert?
Too many reasons...
First of all, there's a wonderful feelings when we see them perform directly that can't be count, definitely their stages act. Even though you have to struggle first become the front row person in the concert. You have to waiting long hours before gate's open, then you have to run quickly after you get passed! It's not about competition, but it's about cozy stand you'll got.
Another reason, the set list! There are approximately 20 songs are sung by the band. From the new one, Silent Times, until the hits, Sleeping Child! As I mentioned before that their songs are mostly very easy-listening. So from the festival area, we were sing along together, feel the fancy euphoria and strong nostalgic feelings.
Really a great concert and full of commitment, considering the not so expensive ticket price.

So, these are the charming Scandinavian Sirs: Jascha Richter (vocalist), Mikkel Lentz (guitarist), and Kare Wanscher (drummer) with an additional bassist.

And for the first time ever in their tour, the most special performance in this concert goes to...All their children behind the "Sleeping Child" song! Seems like they're really love Indonesia, they bring their family also to travel this country. What the brilliant and hot daddys!

At least the one I know,
Michael may be failed learning rock, and never could be expert in rock. But they're totally cool in pop romance while we're rocking the night!

Thank you Michael Learns To Rock and all the crews for an awesome night. Great concert ever!
Go ahead. Go inspiring another sleeping child around the world. Yayyyyy!!!
